to a Dem but on the GOP side individuals are expected to have their own thoughts and opinions. They are also allowed to express them before running them past the national committee.
You would not understand because you never see a Dem express an idea that has not been cleared through the DNC. But this is the outcome you would expect when one group supports the first amendment while the other practices group think and lobbies for ‘safe spaces’.
