You’re talking about a culture that was around during the paleoindian period ~12-14k years ago. first you say they were killed off by other cultures (apparently the ones you think of as American Indians) and then you say these American Indians of 200-300 years ago.
What the **** are you talking about? The Clovis culture is one of (and perhaps the earliest) known culture in the current United States footprint. Their technology spanned a large region. Other cultures arose over time, both contemporaneous and subsequent, but mostly with a change of stone tool technology that marks the Archaic. The American Indians of today and a couple of hundred years ago can be traced back to these cultures
