Impeachment is not merely removal. Two Presidents have been impeached. A third resigned before he could be impeached and removed.
Second, we don’t yet know the full extent of what has transpired (although genius Sal & Spankee seem to be privy to all the facts already). The rest of us can wait to see what evidence comes up. A prima facie case for High Crimes and Misdemeanors is already there based on the rough call transcript, the hiding offer the full transcript and the public appeal to China by Trump.
What is everyone’s hurry?
