Brits worried about their healthcare system compare it to the U.S. healthcare system. The comparison is good for them. The U.S. already spends more in taxes on healthcare than the taxes paid in the U.K. for universal healthcare as a percentage of GDP. If the U.S. system was as efficient as Britain's we would be paying roughly half of what we do now and have universal healthcare for all.
