Here is the polling I had referenced prior. It was directly after the election.

Two points seem to be that the guy is historically unpopular as a potus and yet despite that was able to eke out a win in '16. The factors that went into play influencing that are varied. Funny thing is that Biden very likely would have won in '16. You could say he had his shot.
