I have heard that argument before. I kind of agree.

But let’s be careful what we wish for. The rosey outcome assumes two things:

1. Trump is innocent of these charges and any others the socialists can concoct.

2. Republicans in the senate actually want to get to the bottom of this. That would mean bringing it to Obama’s oval office door. He is black you know, criticizing him is bad for careers in DC.

I believe Trump is innocent of any impeachable offenses. I believe socialists are guilty as hell of many serious crimes punishable by prison terms.

So the plan described in the article should work.

But we are talking about republicans here. Cowardly, weak and stupid republicans. While l don’t trust the honesty of democrats, neither do i trust the competence or courage of republicans.

My guess and my fear is that now, today...deals are being made between coniving socialists and feckless republicans. Republicans who likely have skeletons in their closets that they don’t want exposed. And the socialists know this.

He said he has some really good opportunities lined up for you, and it would be a shame if your personal transactions were released to the public, jeopardizing your heretofore lucrative partnerships.

Now, we know that you want to question lots of high ranking obama officials. We understand that there could be some damaging information revealed. But i want you to think of our nation and the impact of revealing information about our first black president could have on our national psyche. I think we can agree that our great country would suffer terribly under those circumstances. And for what....?

I suggest that a compromise is in order for the good of this nation we all hold so dear. We have identified several mid level career bureaucrats who deserve to be convicted. We will offer only token resistance to your indictment and conviction of these shameful people. In return, you will not pursue any government official at or above the title of assistant deputy director. While there are things for which certain loyal employees could be questioned, embarrassed and perhaps even indicted, we can all agree that the country will be better served without the scandal and the comensurate erosion of trust in government that would certainly follow.

By working across the aisle on this, we can put guilty people in jail, avoid a major scandal and spare the american people the ordeal of of a huge scandal.

Here’s the thing; it’s risky. The term "high crime" is vague and like the term "racist" is left to be determined. What is to stop senators as well as the idiots in the house of reprehesibles from voting to convict because trump is a jerk or a racist?
And all the incriminating information against socialists can be gotten by senate committees if they call comey, holder, jarrett, clinton, brennan, clapper, strzok, lynch, mccabe, and even the black marxist himself.

So far, the spineless republicans in the senate have done virtually nothing to help trump through this. Much less go on offense against the deep state and the corrupt socialists.
