That sounds like an unbalanced person, but there are a huge volume of them and they are fed a constant stream of mis-information. There are a lot of people who have such skewed perspectives and to just dismiss them as insane is irresponsible.
Trump may be a mentally stunted, emotionally challenged, incompetent buffoon....but he legitimately has a lot of followers who are of similar capacities and childlike decision making abilities.
