organization. Helps to justify the slaughter. The pkk have carried out atrocities as has the Turkish government.

The Kurds are some 25-30 million stateless people in a terribly conflicted area of the world.

Kurds are progressive in their brand of Islam, pro-western education and democracy and have an extremely successful region of autonomy in northern Iraq. These are the sort of folks America should want as allies in the region.
