Reminded me of Kubrick and Clockwork Orange. Film will be talked about for a long time. And - it not the violence of Joker but the violence that surrounds and abuses him that may be what upsets some about this work. Cute nods to DC and other interpretations, but the work from Phillips to Phoenix to the soundtrack - oh man, devastating.
