skidmark (brief, because the only real skid was where he was speedshifting and hit his front brake instead of the clutch) and the rest were abrasion marks where the bike slid down the pavement. New teen driver with a brand new Kawasaki Ninja.
Mom: "he couldn't have been going fast because he was still breaking in the engine".
Me: "from the accident reconstruction we estimate he was doing in excess of 75 mph in a 25 mph zone".
Her: "we're selling the motorcycle".
