a majority of the responses were from the coasts where even the GOP disfavors Trump.

I would love to see a poll actually broken down by state so we can see what effect this is having electorally. The Blue states were never going to give electoral votes to Trump anyway, how the people in those states feel has no bearing here. How is this playing in purple states?
