Until we are making the tournament with regularity, it is going to be very very hard to get the 5 star guys to sign with us. How many 5 star guys have we even ever had??? Stipo, the porters, anybody else? And yet we’ve still had success. I truly think that as long as we stay healthy this year, we will probably be in the tournament. And then hopefully that will start to become the rule again rather than the exception. Once that happens, Martin will be able to recruit and land some 5 star types ESPECIALLY if they are in state. But he will never get them all.

Just give him time. Coach K missed the tournament his first 3-4 years at Duke too.
