It seems progressives and the LGBTQ community got outraged over the Chic Filet's owner's stance on marriage being between a man, and a woman.
Boycott! Protest! Ourtage!

End result? Chic filet's more than doubled in size from 4.6 billion in sales to 10.46 in about 6 years.
People like taste food, good service fare more than angry outrage apparently.
