I would turn that back on you, given your response. Nurse, Jill Stanek, broke the story some years back about hospitals that were performing what they called "therapeutic abortions" by inducing labor on children who were too late term to easily dismember in the womb.
They did not give them any true medical care, just "comfort care"... wrapping the baby in a blanket and leaving him or her to die. They provided no food or water for these children, but just left them to writhe and cry in those little rolling carts until they finally died.
She said she would see them laying there, neglected and dying in nurse's lounges and at least once, in the laundry closet.
Nurses said that these children were sometimes older and healthier than other children that were put into nurseries and given the medical care and nutrition that they needed for survival. The only difference between the ones who were doomed to death and those who were deemed "worthy of life" was whether or not their mothers wanted them.
Jill Stanek worked at Christ Hospital in Chicago, where Obama was at the time, fwiw. In the hullabaloo that followed, other nurses came forward and multiple hospitals around the country admitted to this horrible atrocity.
Hospitals quit performing those "therapeutic abortions" because of the public outcry, which you seem to have forgotten, but the practice of not caring for the children born alive during attempted abortions has continued to this day, per the testimony of nurses and doctors who have witnessed them. Obama one time called them fetuses outside the womb in trying to defend the practice. He fought mightily against letting the bills intended to protect these helpless children, just as Nancy Pelosi is doing currently.
This should be a no brainer, as you say. I think your expletive should rightly be directed to those opposing legal protection for these helpless babies... 'WTF is wrong with you?'
