conversation is John Cusack’s 80’s movie The Sure Thing.
His Character: “But I’m an intellectual.”
His Friend: “You’re failing English, it’s your mother tongue!”
Rask says and does things that appear intellectual but when he starts actually discussing his beliefs you see just how shallow they actually are.
He wants to be an intellectual and for people to think he is but he is anything but.
