I was never a fan of incursion in the Middle East but at least we were theoretically worried about oil supply.

Fast forward almost thirty years later and we're still defending countries like Saudi Arabia? We're the biggest exporter of oil in the world so oil protection can't be the answer.

What's the reason then?
