Get past the belligerent show and this is what we have:
He lies unless he is under oath. He may lose gigs on CNN, etc, because of it. He may have harmed a Senate run but he also may have endeared himself.
He was instructed to deliver a message to Sessions to (1) unrecuse himself, (2) to request Session to have Mueller pull back the scope of his investigation and (3) he wished to avoid any record of such a meeting with Sessions (avoid getting on DOJ visit logs). All 3 elements of Obstruction were confirmed.
We also saw that his attempts to avoid answering questions about his discussions with Trump or Senior aids was worthy of contempt of Congress. Why? Well, those same conversations were already out of the bag, in his “NYT’s best-selling book ‘Let Trunmp be Trump’’”. Berke did a great job of having those passages ready to refresh Corey’s memory, and get to the answer of what he attempted to avoid answering.
I look forward to the next witnesses, possible Contempt charges/fines and progress of public exposure of impeachable acts.
