Although technically he transferred during the period when Haith was not permitted to have contact with the team and Fuller was acting head coach.

“First and foremost, Stefan was a great representative of our program during his time at Mizzou and we wish him and his family all the best as his collegiate career moves forward,” read a statement from Missouri coach Frank Haith, who is continuing to serve a five-game NCAA suspension. “Stef wants a larger role in his next opportunity and I will do everything I can to help him land in a great situation.”
Under terms of his suspension, Haith isn’t permitted to have contact with players or staff from Nov. 8-25, so he wouldn’t have had a chance to speak with Jankovic about his decision.
