what the coach is doing - and if the coach is calling bad predictable plays because the game is over, then the players will pick up on that.
Barry is basically saying 'Hey, we'll call a run every time and the opponent will know it, but execute like your life depends on it.'
It's the difference between a coach demanding something that won't happen vs. coaching within what will happen.
Bottom-line he should have turned Taylor Powell loose with the full offense, but a combination of misplaced 'respect' for WV and a fear of turnovers looking bad caused him to yank it back.
And now, for the second week in a row, we got Barry blaming the players.
To Barry:
Keep it up - this won't end well for you.
Maybe talk to Pinkel about where the buck stops if you're confused on that.
