What's your weirdest memory of 9/11?

I had to get my car worked on that day and I remember being at the mechanic's shop as all the customers were riveted watching the tower fall in their lobby.

Then after a few more minutes, just about every mechanic came in the lobby and was watching. Twenty or so people aghast, many crying and/or covering their mouth with their hand as we all calculated how many thousands of people just died when the first tower collapsed. Some people were angry and ready to kill someone. It was surreal.
