provides revenue to their HQ. They don't want anyone impeding on their golden goose and will act quickly if there is any hint of an action that would encourage that.
They will lose. I hope that MU takes them to court if they rule against the school in the upcoming sanctions case. I would think that they would/should have the support of every major subdivision P5 university, except those who are, currently, treated above the law.
