Pinkel inherited a much more dire situation on all fronts. I recall the first year he had no cornerbacks on his roster. It was hilariously unfunny. Odom inherited a sensitive situation on campus and in the locker room and he navigated it very well. But he wasn't lacking a solid program. He got that.
