you did for those actual presidents? How does that not leave you overwhelmingly depressed and still in support of him?

I could see it in terms of Kim Anderson type expectations, where you say look this guy is old and a D2 coach and an absurd hire with no qualifications. I don't think he can win more than 16 or 17 games in a season. Oh, he only won 9? Sure that is worse than my initial absurdly low expectations based on his known limitations, but he does appeal to a certain base and I'm certain if given enough time he will surely turn things around despite no evidence or reason to think that.
