But he was playing the role of pg most of the season, so instead we had almost no offensive movement and distribution for a high % of possessions and kept getting our least athletic player in isolation situations where he had to take desperation shots.
Geist is basically a poor man's Jason Sutherland. Which is to say he can be a good player on a crappy team, or a backup on a good team. We certainly don't want Dru Smith to resemble Geist next year, because we can't afford to have another season of being a crappy team.
