Unemployment 3.7%. Lowest since 1969. Labor participation rate in 1969 was 60.1%. Today it’s 63%.
Unemployment for workers with a high school degree 5.6%. Blacks 6.4%. Hispanics 4.5%. ALL record lows.
In the last 12 months, avg hourly earnings are +3.2% vs 2.8% the year prior.
Perhaps the best news, the lowest part of our income spectrum, workers 90% down the spectrum scale, have seen the biggest wage growth +6.2%.
You can claim all kinds of garbage if you oppose this kind of success... racism, bullying, trade war, Russia, whatever. It doesn’t matter! If people have jobs - which they do - and if people are seeing pay increases - which they are - no propaganda in the world will convince them to vote out the leader that helped make that happen.
