Yet you say, ‘Why should the son not bear the guilt of the father?’ Because the son has done what is lawful and right, and has kept all My statutes and observed them, he shall surely live. The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son."
Because God said so. Because He's the perfect Dad, and it's His right to set the rules.
Now about your petulant whining about not being treated fairly: God says, "the wages of sin is death". Eternal death.
The wages of sin, what you have earned, (just like everyone else); what you deserve, (just like everyone else); what is just, and what is eminently FAIR; is death, in Hell, in the Lake of Fire, flesh burning forever, but never being consumed; as well as the mental torment of having foolishly rejected God's instruction, with the knowledge that one's own arrogance earned you that place of torment, and an eternity void of the blessing of God. This is what is fair.
But instead being grateful that God spared you eternal death like you deserve, you constantly cry that you are being cheated out out of what is fair; because God, in His sovereignty chose to give a few extra blessings to another person, or another people group, (which could turn into a curse if not handled properly); and in your arrogance, you claim that is proof He is being unjust to you. Did you use those exact words? No. But it is clearly what you do.
You should just be grateful you don't get treated fairly, that God spared you fair today, and gave you infinitely better than fair, and shut your whiny trap.
