for a 4th straight recruiting cycle.

Vanderbilt (a private school with elite academics and ultra-high admissions standards) is the only SEC school that Odom has been able to out-recruit in his 4-year tenure at MU.

That might be okay if he were some kind of coaching wizard who could turn straw into gold like Rumpelstiltskin or Bill Snyder, but he's not.

There's no way we can retain him beyond this season without inflicting massive, Kim-Anderson-like damage to the football program.
