Reminds me of a canoe trip we took on the Current.

A friend got out his new Hibachi to cook supper & got so ticked off about some issue he was having with it he stomped it & the cheap metal broke into a bunch of different pieces. He had been cursing the "cheap Chinese cr@p" even before it shattered and really went off after that happened.
If I recall it was a rough night for him all the way around. He & his buddy had flipped their canoe earlier & were dumped into the ice cold river... early spring. They were scrambling to grab the beers floating everywhere & got out freezing cold looking like drowned rats before we stopped on a sandbar to cook supper & camp.
It was pretty cold & he crashed out close to the fire to dry out. I guess it worked, at least until he woke up with one of his pants legs on fire & he had to jump back in the river.
Fun times.
It entertained my girlfriend for sure.
