Do you honestly believe if it were a pure democracy that the majority of American's would be in favor of abolishing, or even changing, the 2nd amendment? Numbers show 43% of American households have firearms. And, any gun owner would be highly motivated to turn out for that vote.
If you reside in the bubble of the MM then of course you're convinced that its only the politicians and the evil gun lobby standing in your way of gun reform. But, that isn't reality.
