Indiana cannot use the Interstate Voter Registration Crosscheck database to eliminate voters from the state's electoral rolls if they register to vote in another state, the US Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit ruled in upholding a lower court's preliminary injunction. "Indiana equates double registration with double voting. But the two are quite different," US Circuit Judge Diane Wood wrote in the appeals court decision.
