No logic. You can do both. You can and should be patriotic and resign (which he did) and also explain why. You owe no loyalty to the guy who didn't listen to your advice. Same with a guy like Tillerson. If you think the President is a moron, then say so. That should be public information so voters know what's actually going on in their White House.
