So temps go up a bit, some ice melts, oceans rise a little. None of those seem particularly dire. Yes, there will be some winners and losers, but that’s life. Mankind will adjust, that’s the one thing, perhaps the only thing, it does well.

Hell, one of these days one of earth’s twenty or so super volcanoes will erupt and . . .. Or thermonuclear weapons will be used and we’ll have a “nuclear winter” (how many remember Carl Sagan, hell how many even know who he was?).

Bottom line mankInd will “muddle through”, as it always does. That’s about the only thing it does well.
