Parish Priest, a great guy, but a Chicago guy, the Child shootings in STL city (north city) are the result of (i) lack of a city-county merger in STL; and (ii) lax gun laws out of Jeff City due to the white rednecks in the state outside of STL. Of course the implication is it is white racism.

First, the proposed merger would only juke the stats - it wouldn't change a thing about crime. And as far as I know, Illinois, and Chicago in particular, have very tough gun laws compared to us hicks in Missourah. And from what I can tell, they have the same problem with the same demographic.
