You don't leave open the possibility that American intelligence had legitimate concerns? Or at the very least, illegitimate ones that they felt a need to flesh out, and document their files to cover their asses?

Just in the world of medicine, or law, or business - I've seen a lot of folks do things that make you wonder just to cover their butts.

Is that a possibility in your mind or is the only answer that it had to be part of some nefarious plot?
