A fundamental part of the job when Cuonzo was hired would be to run off Kim Anderson players, he was having to completely remake the roster. Unfortunately for him his hands were tied because of all the APR issues that Kim inflicted on the program so player retention was also very important early on. Cuonzo should probably get more credit than he does for patching things together considering what was left for him.
