Agree with him or not.

He was working on some movie he had as a kid and at a film festival some "pureness in movies" guy stood up and told everyone what they should not have in movies: Drugs, rock and roll, anti-establishment, etc

Fonda said he listened to everything the guy said and thought 'thats exactly the movie i should make' and wrote easy rider
