Consistency

Would suggest a critical issue for this year's team is whether or not it can consistently play well, always play at a high level. Obviously, the more consistently it plays up to or approaches its capabilities, the more likely it is to be successful.

Would also suggest the need to play consistently well is often overlooked in projecting an individual's or team's performance. I.e. a QB making an accurate pass to a receiver running a slant one time is different than a QB making that pass six our of ten time or nine out of ten. Many tend to see a QB do it once and assume he will do it every time.

I use QB throwing a particular route solely as an example and it is not intended as a comment on Bryant, although the Tigers do need him to play consistently well.
