Second, mandatory background checks at gun shows. Majority of states do not require private gun sales to undergo background check
Mandatory wait period for all firearm sales. For the gun show crowd an advance background check can be processed prior to the show. The buyer who gets the green light is eligible to buy at the show.
It won't happen but I would also stop the sale of assault style semi automatic long guns. Ban large clips magazines. Control the sale of ammunition of AR/AK guns currently legally owned. Obtain a permit to purchase this type of ammunition
if the above ideas are rejected maybe USA should hand out guns to all arriving immigrants so their 2nd amendment rights are protected unless you believe all men are not created equal
