Regarding Solomon building the Temple.
1 Kings 7:26
"It held two thousand baths."
2 Chronicles 4:5
"It held three thousand baths."
How old was Jehoiachin?
2 Kings 24:8
"8 Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months."
9 Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign; he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem.
NIV changes the age because the evangelicals have to alter the text to try to maintain Bible inerrancy.
9 Jehoiachin was eighteen[a] years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months and ten days.
How old was Ahaziah?
2 Kings 8:26
26 Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem one year
2 Chronicles 22:2
2 Ahaziah was forty-two years old when he began to reign; he reigned one year in Jerusalem.
Oh look at the NIV again changing the text.
2 Ahaziah was twenty-two[a] years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem one year.
How many horse stalls did Solomon have?
1 Kings 4:26
26 Solomon also had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
God dammit NIV, why you changing the text again?
26 Solomon had four thousand stalls for chariot horses, and twelve thousand horses.
2 Chronicles 9:25
25 Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horses
Oh that's why..
Some may say that these are just small numerical errors that it doesn't affect the Bible theology.
Well.. Luke 16:10
10 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
