and somewhere along the way, they find a way to dip their hand in the pie. You see them leave and folks talk about the War Chest they've accumulated. The special rules they allocate for themselves - like not being subject to insider trading rules until recently. The speaking arrangements and the Foundations....I remember when Meg Whitman spent what, $40mm or her own money to win a $400k job? Why would someone do that? Oh right, noble purpose...
