Al Ettehad Alexandria (Superleague) signed 28-year old Georgian international guard Michael Dixon (186-85kg-90, college: Memphis). He is a dual citizen owning also American passport. Dixon played last season at Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia in Italian Serie A. In 11 games he had 13.8ppg, 3.3rpg and 4.2apg. He also played for Bnei Hasharon (Winner League) in Israeli league where in 17 games he recorded 12.0ppg, 2.2rpg, 4.3apg and 1.7spg.
Dixon represented Georgia at the European Championships two years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 13.8ppg, 2.0rpg, 5.0apg, 1.4spg, FGP: 57.7%, 3PT: 45.5%, FT: 81.8%.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Dixon won Czech Republic League championship title in 2016.
