but its not possible to make a real distinction between truly mentally ill and people who can function and are just cruel people.
Personally, I have changed my mind to no death penalty, preferably for one simple reason: innocent people have been executed and I have no doubt its FAR more than we all realize. But, if one on death row wants death, he should get it. Saves money if nothing else.
