Trump sang Exoneration for the past few months. Yet, the GOP tact was to say it wasn't the job of the DOJ to exonerate. Somehow, messages were mixed.
What is known:
The President's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, lied. Went to jail. Only the shield of the OLC memo has prevented the Principal (Trump) from being liable for his Agent's (Cohen) actions.
The President's Campaign Manager, Paul Manafort, lied. Went to jail. Paul's non-cooperation is a move towards a pardon from Trump. State charges may still be filed.
The President's National Security Advisor, Michael Flynn, lied. Also, was making money on the side with Turkey. Now at risk of violating his plea deal for non-cooperation. Hankering for a pardon from Trump.
The President's son and son and law, meet with Russian operatives with the intent of gathering dirt on HRC. They lied about it. Trump dictated a press release to lie about it.
The President, it seems, wasn't truthful in his responses to questions from the Office of Special Counsel. He selectively responded to questions. He refused to be interviewed.
So, with all this innocence and exoneration being claimed, why the lies? Why the equivalent of pleading the Fifth?
Trump is guilty, or he has more that he is hiding, perhaps clues to that are in his tax returns.
