someone asked him if he'd support Pence in 2024 and he was silent (leading to speculation that he and Pence might be strained). He said, "who thinks about 2024, it's so far away. I paused because I really hadn't considered it. Who even knows who'll be running? And then he proceeded to get a dig in at Obama - "I was really surprised that he didn't endorse Biden right away".

Please explain why this message is being reported.
