Maybe it was confiscating a guy's bong and pot as he filled the bong with icewater from a cooler in the back of his El Camino?

I wasn't hiding. I was on a quarter horse cutting across the parking lot and was in plain view. Was it smart of him to fill his bong when I was present? Was it smart of him to be in a public park at an event hitting a bong when he was on probation for previous criminal acts?

I didn't arrest him for his stupidity. I did take his bong and pot and secure it into evidence. I did fill out a report for his probation officer. What exactly did I do that was so heinous? Was I the one who got his pot taken from him for being stupid? There were people all over the place. Was I supposed to just look the other way? Because it was only pot? Because he couldn't bother to look at me bigger than life and wait a minute until I passed to fill his bong?
