You cannot view a group of players playing together the same as those players playing on different teams.
It is extremely simplified and ignores a lot of context and variables.
There are more available points if they're all on different teams; each one can be "the guy" on their own team. Once you put them all on the same team the available points for each drops; they can not all be "the guy".
It's no surprise that of the 15 players in your "top 2", exactly 1 player played at MU longer than 2 years; the players spent much of their careers not playing together.
