His vapid and obsessive virtue signaling is evidence of just how badly he wishes to be viewed as something other than what he is. He loves speaking of spiritual philosophies, deep thinkers, revered musicians. People of depth and substance. Yet when he speaks for himself we get “f*ck the unborn” and a declaration that since a candidate is Hindu she moves to the top of his charts. When called on it he claims top of his charts does not mean top of his charts.
He is insecure and a slave to how his emotions limit his ability to reason. He uses this odd virtue signaling to try and present himself as something deeper. But eventually he posts his own thoughts and exposes himself.
Don’t let it get personal. Treat him with the light touch he warrants. Enjoy the quirk he brings to the board. We are all flawed creatures. To each his/her own.
