More lies and manipulation?

Top 10, 8-0 team going into the Georgia game? Mizzou football 2019 is getting huge hype from local and national media types. They lost our qb, punter, top rb and receiver, several multi year o line starters. Offense should still be good but how is it better than last year? Won't defenses play us a lot tighter without the guy who could accurately throw a frozen rope football 50 - 60 yards?

Why would anyone believe Barry Odom would have an effective defensive team? Has it been that long since December's typical swiss cheese defensive bowl game for people to've forgotten this man's talent,(or lack thereof), for stopping the other team? The only good defense he's coached here was actually designed by Steckel and Kuligowski. With the same personnel it went from being top 10 in the country to not even top half when coach Kul left.

This kind of hype is extremely questionable in my eyes and the idea that it is being done to gloss over in some way the NCAA penalties, to try and turn fans from being negative to being positive about the program seems pretty likely to me. When the actual games start and the appeal on the penalties gets denied then they can use some new malarkey like maybe the bb team being world beaters to keep things from going down the drain. Then something else and then something else. Just have to make it through a period of time until most fans either forget or forgive the latest example of utter foolishness that's taken place.
