When he said ‘racist’ he meant ‘exclusionary’....which is a totally different word that does not mean ‘racist’

“I should've been more precise in my observations about Trump and his racist remarks. My point: with these comments, in addition to his reaction to Charlottesville and sundry other cases, Trump's retrograde, exclusionary message is in a league with Andrew Johnson's racist rhetoric.”
