By making his stupid tweet Trump reunited them again. That will assure that the entire party keeps moving to the left. Pelosi cannot control them so that leaves her two options. She can either cede power to them an let them run or she can join them.

Either option is good for the GOP. While the infighting was fun to watch if Pelosi had succeeded is separating them from the Dem base it would have hurt the GOP.
